„How can AI simultaneously help with health and earthquake detection?! A pioneering multidisciplinary approach“
Anotacija: In this brief presentation, we will learn about the University of the Azores, the Azores, and Portugal, emphasising the current scientific and technological system, as well as its potential for future scientific and cultural collaboration between Portugal and Lithuania. From a personal perspective, we will present three ongoing projects in health and seismology that are benefiting from the rapid progress of AI, in the context of a partnership with a company in the health sector and another in the seismological and volcanological monitoring sector, based in the Azores, which contributes daily to the protection and safety of the Azoreans in the face of the natural geological risks of the Azores.
