From September 6 to 12, 2026, Gintautas Dzemyda, Professor at the Institute of Data Science and Digital Technologies, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, Vilnius University, visited universities in Beijing, China, where he delivered lectures and presented research on artificial intelligence applications in medicine, finance, and image analysis.
The presented studies, conducted together with colleagues and doctoral researchers, highlighted the diversity of AI research carried out at VU MIF. Opportunities for future research collaboration with Chinese universities were also discussed during the visit.
