1984 Kaunas Polytechnical Institute [now renamed into Kaunas University of Technology], Faculty of Automatics, Automated Management/Control Systems speciality: Engineer-Systemotechnician diploma (cum laude).
1996 Institute of Mathematics and Informatics: Doctor of Sciences degree in Informatics (thesis title: “Knowledge base structuring technique for heuristic and qualitative reasoning systems”).

In general: Information Systems and Knowledge-Based Systems.
In particular (from most important now to past ones): Semantic Web, Web Services, Ontological Engineering, Knowledge Management and Organisational Memories, Workflow Automation, Qualitative Reasoning, Expert Systems.
