Optimization techniques pierce through many chapters of operations research, because their utilization āfacilitates the choice and the implementation of more effective solutions which, typically, may involve complex interactions among people, materials and money problemsā (www.euro-online.org). This challenge stimulates a study of existing techniques as well as development of new concepts for optimization. The scope of the 10th EUROPT Workshop on Advances in Continuous Optimization is to overview trends and to gain a common attitude towards latest challenges in continuous optimization, dynamic systems and advanced applications.
